Under his pseudonym “Mozz,” Chris Mosdell has written and illustrated a series of imaginative children’s books. In Search of the Holey Whale won the Gold Prize in the Moonbeam Children’s Book Award for Poetry, while A Fork in the Road received the USA Book News “Best Books 2010” Award for Humour. Mozz has been described as “weird and charming… a modern-day Dr. Seuss or Shel Silverstein, creating worlds that are often nonsensical but always whimsical.”
Mozz is also a captivating performer. With his quick wit and playful energy, he’s a hit with children, blending his poetry readings with humorous anecdotes and fascinating facts.
At this event, Chris will offer deeper insight into his songwriting and lyrical work, discussing his creative process—from early journaling to the art of choosing the perfect word. A book signing will follow, featuring limited-edition (500 total) open-spine copies of his new book The Radicals (¥2,000), along with other titles available for purchase.
