The planet factory | Elizabeth tasker

December 9th, 2017

We thought we understood how planets were made until we began discovering worlds around other stars. Planets circle dead stars, others orbit two stars or none at all. This talk takes a journey through some of the strangest worlds we have discovered, how they may have formed and whether we can tell if any could host life. Dr. Tasker explores these topics in her new book: The Planet Factory: Exoplanets and the Search for a Second Earth.
