Protecting and Promoting Children’s Rights Worldwide

In this talk Ann Skelton will discuss the types of rights included in the The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), an organization that oversees the implementation of legislations, plays. As a signatory, Japan is expected to report to the committee and to show the results of the efforts they are making to comply to the CRC. How does the CRC evaluate Japan? Ann Skelton, who is a member of the committee, will guide us to think about the current situation of the rights of children around the world.
