cryptocurrency: THe future of money

Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are poised to change the world, though, like all new technologies, exactly how remains uncertain. This talk will explore where the future of money is headed and answer questions such as:

What is cryptocurrency?
How is it different from traditional currencies like yen or dollars?
What is blockchain technology?
Why is this technology important?
What possibilities might it create in the future?

During the session, you’ll see a live Bitcoin transaction and even have the chance to participate in interactive cryptocurrency trading.

This talk is designed for 6th graders through high school students, as well as parents and guardians, offering valuable insights into an emerging technology that is rapidly shaping our world.

Dave Gutteridge is a writer and performer who has worked in IT in the past and has recently been caught up in the exciting world of cryptocurrency. He currently works full time writing about cryptocurrency, covering all aspects of the market, including technology and market analysis.
